IT IS A GIRL!

I am so very excited to have a little girl. The only thing now is the 4 months of fighting over names. Katie and I do not agree on girl names at all. A boy would have been pretty easy, but now it is a girl. The funny thing is when Katie and I got married I thought we had at least our first 2 daughters named. However, it seems that Katie's preference has changed. I want to put the naming rights up for sale on EBAY or something like that, but Katie does not like that idea.

I hope that you all had a great Christmas and New Year. We got a foot of snow from 9 p.m. New Years Eve to 9 p.m. New Years Day. I love the snow. I just wish that the snow would have been a week earlier for Christmas.

The Fall Begins

Where did the summer go? Today starts soccer practice in my second year as Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at ECA. I cannot believe that the summer is gone now. But, I love this time of year. This year seems to be even more exciting. The Cubs are a half game out of first place. I actually am still watching the Cubs in August. They are still in it. Now, I know that they are going to break my heart again this year. It is just exciting to be back in it. Tomorrow is the MLB tradinng deadline as well. I love reading the rumors and making up some of my own to see how the Cubs could get better. The NFL opened camps last week. Notre Dame opens camp next week. In a couple weeks, I will be at High School Football games. Before you know it, it will be September and the Cubs will be in first on their way to the Central Division Championship. Notre Dame will be starting and on their way to an 8-4 season. (Which Mark May on ESPN Gameday said Notre Dame goes better than 6-6 and he will cast his vote for Charlie Weis as coach of the year. That would be awesome to see him eat his words and cast that vote.) The 49ers and Colts will be on their way to meeting each other in the Super Bowl. Oh my, I love this time of year and it all starts today with the first practice of the soccer season.

It's my blog and I can dream however I want. (Besides, the only thing that I am dreaming about is the Cubs winning the division and the 49ers going to the Super Bowl.) I think everything else is legit.
